If you add up the amount of things to be moved and assign a gross weight to it a mover can tell you the projected cost. Call a mover and show him what you are moving and get a projected weight and cost, then call 2 or 3 more and compare prices. As stated truck rental for a one way is a fortune, and pods are not cheap either. A mover is you safest and best route. Ask your real estate agent for a list of movers that they have recommended to their customers.
