Paignton is located to the south of Torquay and is a coastal town in Devon in the United Kingdom. The old town is inland from the beach and has grown since becoming a Victorian resort. The seafront area is dominated by Paignton Pier, a 780 foot long structure which opened in 1879. It was designed by George Soudon Bridgman, a local architect who also designed the original Oldway Mansion.
The Festival Theatre which opened in 1967 and was once a seafront theatre capable of staging large summer shows, but in 1999 it was converted into a multi screen cinema

The Oldway Mansion is a large house and gardens in Paignton in the United Kingdom. It was built as a private residence for Isaac Merritt Singer 1811 1875, and rebuilt by his third son Paris Singer in the style of the Palace of Versailles in Paris. The interior of the building is noted for its grand staircase made from baluster s of bronze and marble. The ceiling of the staircase is decorated with an ornate painting in the style of the Italian School. The staircase and the ceiling are based on a design by the French painter and architect Joseph Lebrun.

Could a vampire family live in Britain?
I know i ask this question a lot but i dont want to copy Stephenie Meyer! But i was thinking about a place where a vampire family could live (which means go to skewl and also hunt in woods). Im not sure Britain has a place where a vampire could hunt for animals but if so plz tell me da town!
What I know is dat Britain has A LOT of rainy/cold weather all year but it also could b sunny near the coast.

If you’re writing a story it may be best to create a fictional place in England. If not google different places in England like Crew and check on their weather in present time. Type in something like "Crew weather" and see. I would recommend creating fictional places though, that way you won’t have to research a lot and you can make up your own history and your own buildings. Please stay in *school, it’s kewl :p

No, Vampires only drink animal blood in an emergency. It would be the equivalent of a human surviving on grubs and roots. Secondly the Brits are such dried up prunes a single vampire would have to drain 50 a night just for a light snack.
As for all the Arabs living there they are too cold blooded. Who would want to carry around a microwave with them to warm the blood up.
The only reason a vampire would be in Britain is if he were being punished. Sort of a penal colony thing.

Certainly a vampire family could live in Britain. Since you are the Writer/Creator of your story, you name the place where you would like the family to live. You can make up a town name, add any residents that you’d like, name a park (or wooded area) and create anything else which you would like.
Since Britain is actually cloudy and/or wet most of the time, the backdrop for your story will work perfectly. Imagine any mysterious places which have actually been to and try to take bits & pieces from these places in order to create your town.

1. You should always write properly unless it’s specifically uncalled for.
2. It’s your book. Write it how you want. YOU are the story teller. If you’d like to place your story in Britain, then do so.
