I watch TV shows where they flip houses, but they don’t give any details on cost.
Prices vary depending on where you live and the local demand for professional home staging. Coastal areas and large metropolitan cities where home staging has been prevalent for years command higher prices. Some real estate agents help sellers Stage the home themselves. Most listing agents agree, however, that vacant homes show better with staging and will encourage sellers to hire a professional stager. Fees range from $500 to $5,000 or more, depending on square footage and the number of rooms staged.

I watch those shows too. I think I seen one in California where they quoted the flipper at $3,000. If you look on Google and type in ‘Home Staging’ plus whatever Area Code you live in, you might find local staging companies that will give you quotes. You can also talk to the realtor you are using (and I hope you are using one, cause if not, you are going to end up losing money for it being on the market for so long) They might be able to assist you in finding a Company for staging your home.

If you watch the shows, you probably have a pretty good idea that "less is more". You could do it yourself. Just get all the extra pieces of furniture out, remove ALL personal effects. Paint. Add FRESH flowers. Minimize bedding….and VOILA!
