Do realtors normally stage a house that they are selling?
Author: admin | Category: Staging a HouseStaging means to put furniture in the house so that it won’t just be an empty shell. I am in San Francisco.
Do they pay for the staging?
No, staging is something they recommend YOU do, if you have moved out of the home. This gives potential buyers a look at what the home is like furnished. This can cost several thousands of dollars and more depending on how long you have the rented furniture being staged.

I never heard of that happening, but everything on a real estate contract is negotiable. You could try, but I’d be surprised, personally.

I think the home owner has to pay for that to be done by professional stagers.

If they are realtors for like a certain neighborhood.
Where the whole neighborhood only has like 4 – 8 floor plans (different color bricks and all though) One of the model homes is painted and filled with furniture and part of it is usually turned into an office and the realtor works out of the office, this way people can come into the neighborhood and they can show them the houses right there, they will also usually show them the model home.
After they’ve sold all the houses in the neighborhood just built then they convert the office back into whatever room it was and usually sell the model home furnished.
Never been to san francisco but they do that in Georgia and SC.

I don’t know of any realtors who orchestrate/pay for staging.
Those responsibilities usually fall to the homeowner.
I’m on the east coast.
