Guys: Does it make you Angry that women try to Monopolize the Home Decorating?
Author: admin | Category: Home DecoratingA lot of women in general think they are entitled to do all the home decorating and also throw out a lot of their guy’s possessions. This is near the top of my hate list. What do you guys think about this? Doesn’t this outrage you? Are you just going to take that? If you pay for half of the rent or mortgage, don’t you think you have the right to decorate half of your residence the way that YOU like it?
Besides me not knowing one curtain from another If it were left up to me the house would be functional but not matched.

But I have learned to be careful. One woman I used to date asked to fix up my living room. Nothing matched but it was comfortable. I went on a business trip and came back 6 days later and had new paint, new curtains, new pictures on the wall, new carpet, new lighting and new furniture. Oh yeah and a bill for $23,000 since she hired professionals and did none of the work herself.
I did not think it was possible to spend that much money on a living room. As for you situation, which half of the bed do you like? Or would you perfer the sofa?

Women are more passionate about where they live and often make the place look better – If we had a say we wouldn’t get round to doing it or nothing like that, the love is worth it.

No it does not bother me! We men have no taste when it comes to interior decorating and not only that.You love her then you will shut your mouth.Shutting up and letting her do what she likes and feels won’t kill you .So just stop complaining , period.

This isn’t a debate on which sex can decorate the best. The misconception of close minded people that only women can decorate, and that all male decorators must be gay or some other b.s. like that is entirely not true.
Women are not the best cooks, or decorators, or have the best fashion sense. Look at all the big name fashion designers out there.!!! They are men, with the exception of a small handful of them, the majority of them are straight.
So for the closed minded person who answered, "women are doing you a favour", probably owns and adores the male designers, you know the ones… the ones with tastes sweetie. So get over yourself.
So yes, I am angry at closed minded people who think only women can decorate. Buddy, its your house too, and you should have a say in it, otherwise you’d end up in an enviroment you wouldn’t not feel to comfortable to call home.
And to all those who mark me negative, probably can’t read past my ranting and are probably close minded. I’m not against women. I’m against ignorant people.

If the guy I’m with wants to decorate he can go ahead. If I don’t like it I’ll change it. If he doesn’t like it he can change it. Chances are, we will have similar taste and can find something that we both like the first time around. I haven’t had to toss any furniture out. My boyfriend’s sister and brother-in-law burnt his old couch and chair while he was at college. That isn’t cool.

I’m actually more angry if they try to make me participate in something I simply don’t have much interest in. the rule in our home is everything inside the home is her domain and everything outside the home is mine.
I would not like it if she threw my stuff away. Get a toolshed/garage/MANCAVE.I know guys that have storage building to keep their stuff and hang out. Crazy huh?
I don’t think women are better decoraters than men,It depends more on where your interests lie. I can build an engine and get excited about the details,just like she gets over curtains. Nothing bad about that,just different.
Money shouldn’t give you more of a vote either because I pay the house note but I assure you its her house!! I’m OK with that.
