Does spiritual or religious art statues make for good home decorating? Does it show class or make me a snob?

Author: admin  |  Category: Home Decorating

The only reason I ask, is because I opened up a Yahoo! store with things I like, such as reproduction art of spiritual and religious icons, amongst other things. But I had never thought of decorating my home with it as well. Thank you.

No, I don’t think it makes anyone a snob. It’s a matter of personal taste. My mother has her house decorated with religous statues. There is nothing wrong with that.

i don’t think is shows class or makes you a snob. it more shows that you have a deep faith in your religion and are proud of your beliefs.

I feel a Buddha works nicely and fits into a lot of contexts, brings a sense of peacefulness and respect to any space. I’m a Christian but have no problem with that. Crosses can come across as more "religious" and alienate agnostics more than the Buddha, IMHO.
