I would like to take one of these online courses, but I can’t seem to find too much info on any of them. I am very skeptical of a distance education course. I already have a degreee, but I am looking for a new career path.
Please feel free to leave your comments, suggestions, and knowledge.
Thanks!
I have taken two staging courses
The Staging Diva (which is good, because not only do you learn the rules of staging, but you learn how to start up your business)
http://www.stagingdiva.com/
and I have taken the Sheffield course in interior decorating
http://www.sheffield.edu/
I liked them both very much. Both have served me well to success in my business.

Staging a Housei’ve watched several shows of the aggie & kim duo’s programme ‘how cleanis your house’ & with each show i’m more gobsmacked than i was with the one before.
these houses are boggin really minging. I’ve seen maggots in the rancid fat in a grill pan , rooms where you couldn’t see furniture for bin bags full of rubbish, pizza boxes strewn over , animal poo crusted on to the carpets & mouse dirt every where. do people actually live like that or are these houses/flats staged to look like that for the show.
i agree with you all , my house has lived look. husband naturally messy , leaves the paper on floor when he’s finished with it etc. but its far from minging,
oh by the way I meant the programme was called how clean is your house. wasn’t really asking how clean yours were lol but its nice to know people have same sort of ‘untidiness’ as me at times
And i thought my house was ming!

Home Staging This home is in not near any large cities, and even though there are three listed in the phone book, all are out of business.
The realtor could not tell me, and there are only two agents on the lake.
If there are interior design programs available through any local technical colleges near you, it may be possible for you to offer your home to them as a project house at a more than usual reduced end cost to you for the service. If they aren’t in need of any "project houses" it may be worth your while to inquire about any recent grad’s who might be in need of a cash job and some real world experience, also technical colleges oftentimes will have an online bulletin board or something where you could post an ad.

Home DecoratingWe just bought our first house and I am super excited to decorate it. I have a lot of ideas, but is there any good websites that I could get more? Thanks!
Before we moved, I bought a journal and started collecting pieces of paper from magazines, and whatnot that reflected colours, textures and designs that I liked–not just from home furnishing.
From there, I also ordered a few catalogues and did some more clippings. Online sites as well, ikea.com, target.com, the pottery barn, even urban outfitters have great ideas as well for furnishing, and even if you don’t end up buying that piece, you can always try and figure out a style that it represents that you want to work with.
As well, Ikea offers a home furnishing consultant that you can take these ideas to, if you’re into Ikea furniture, and they will help you decorate a room, or the entire house, or certain aspects according to your tastes and such.

Staging CoursesI am really interested in Lighting and sound for drama productions- I just love the technical side of drama basically. When I leave school I want to be a theatre technitian but I dont know what colleges do my course, or if it is even a course that exists. I would like a sound/ stage lighting course all in one but if they are separate thats fine (i dont know if the sound course would come under music technology- i want to learn more about different sound desks, recording kits and mics etc, also i want to learn to use sound forge and acid ect properly)
I live in southampton and have looked at totton and tauntons college so far- i am going to look at bournemouth. Can anyone help with a college that might help me and get the qualification i want?
I googled courses "lighting technician" and got about a thousand hits, including colleges. There would be a lot of info there.
